ABOUT THIS WEBSITE
For years I have kept a little “thought book” penning down (and in the recent years graduated to typing out!) little experiences, insights, inspirations and despairs. The efforts achieved more than the initial need to mere venting. When I look back at my entries, I could still remember the excitement, the conviction and the desperation behind those words. And in doing so, am reminded of past convictions and the milestones I’ve achieved.
But above all, I have discovered that I love words, and written thoughts best express myself.
So Yipp, my dear hubby, bought me this domain to force encourage me to finally start writing in 2009.
This blog journals the journey of my life as a wife, a mother, a homemaker, a friend, a reader, and the different roles that I assume, in this foreign land. I dedicate this blog to my darling Alethea, that as she reads this when I’m old and dusty, to be reminded that I am not born a naggy mother, that I too, used to be young and ambitious, to have thoughts and aspirations, to have loved and be loved.

Thea, short for Alethea, is my baby girl, born April 9th, 2008, 18:59, Malaysia.
Alethea Minn YEE is her full name. The name “Alethea” has its origin in the Greek language, and bears the meaning of “truth & verity”.
“Minn” is her middle and chinese name, and bears the meaning of sensitivity & intelligence. The double “n” takes after her daddy’s double “p” in his name.
