This happened a little more than a month ago but I thought it’d be a cute memory to note down.

There were 2 boys – 1 blond and 1 brunette. Both had really cute curls on their heads. They were buddies but yet they had very different personalities. The blond (aka little blond curls from hereon) was younger, angrier and speaks more with his fists than words. The brunette was older, gentler and speaks well. Both were playing before little Thea joined the scene. Thea was minding her own business. Little blond curls came over to intimidate her, and kept coming back to intimidate her again and again. I stood from a little distance and watched this little scene. I wanted Thea to learn the ‘trade’ of the playground. I wanted her to fend for herself. But what I didn’t expect was, while Thea was playing on her own, little blond curls physically cornered her and pushed her! Thea wailed and I yelled (I couldn’t stop myself!).

After a few minutes everything went back to order. The kids played, and the adults watched. Out of the blue little blond curls and little brown curls fought. Little blond curls was yanking some little curls off the brunette. Little blond curls cried. Nannies rushed forward and asked them why? Little brown curls said that little blond curls was bullying “her” (pointing to Thea), and he was stopping him.

Everybody say “awww” now.

After that, little brown curls came over to an oblivious Thea and straightened her little jacket on her body. It was SO SWEET ohkayyy!!!!!

The little boys went back to play.
