Wedding congratulatory

I made this last week and tried to take a picture of it at night – poor lighting. I hate it when photos turn out like this.  Any tips, Andy?
This is a wedding congratulatory a friend has asked me to make. Something pretty, pink and sweet.

Romantic antique

This is an A4 size (closed) card – it’s a nice challenge having to make something almost 4 times the  size of my usual cards. My customer requested for a romantic birthday card with an antique twist to it. It got me thinking of some romantic warrior kind of love back in the old times. [...]

REAL last bit of them all

Ok ok so I thought I was pretty much done with all my X’mas cards, but I had some small orders so I thought, “ahhhh why not!” So here are 3. All have the same pretty sweet feel to them, thanks to the patterned papers and my very much “stale” ideas.

See my new [...]

Altered notebooks & clothespin

The X’mas gift shopping buzz has started for me after I was told by a few that they’re *almost done* with theirs! *gasp!* But I’ve only made a list yesterday!
Made this set as a X’mas gift for one of hubby’s colleague:

Learned to tie the button to the ribbon from a video tutorial sometime last week [...]

New ribbons + stuff

Men, it’s dangerous to leave your bored wife at home with car and credit card while you will be away for hours on a Thursday night (that’s like Friday nights for you non-UAE residents). I packed Thea up and drove to Al Bastaki at Deira despite the bumper to bumper jam all along the Shindagha [...]

Happy Birthday, Marlene!

It’s so tough trying to make something crafty for a skilled crafter. They know so many more techniques, had made so many more things, but most obviously, they know what’s pretty and what’s not. *laughs*
This set of altered notebook, clothespin and bookmark is made for Marlene, an online-crafter-friend I befriended a short while back when [...]
